Board members play a critical role in advancing access to quality, compassionate, and equitable healthcare while strengthening governance, accountability, and long-term sustainability.

Who We’re Looking For
We welcome candidates with experience or interest in:

Healthcare, public health, or behavioral health

Finance, accounting, banking, or audit/compliance

Legal, HR, risk management, or policy
-
Community leadership, advocacy, or nonprofit governance
-
Marketing, communications, technology, or strategic planning
-
Patient or community representation aligned with our service population
Diverse perspectives and lived experience are highly valued.
Board Member Responsibilities
Board members are expected to:

Attend regular board meetings (virtual and in-person)
-
Serve on at least one committee (Finance, Governance, Compliance, Development, etc.)

Uphold fiduciary, ethical, and legal responsibilities
-
Support organizational fundraising and community engagement
-
Act as an ambassador for QCHC’s mission and values
Commitment & Term

Typical term: 2–3 years

Estimated time commitment: 4–8 hours per month

This is a volunteer, non-compensated leadership role
