Dr. Ra’Shawn D. Flournoy, D.MIN, is the Chief Executive Officer of Quality Comprehensive Health Center (QCHC), a leading nonprofit community health center in Charlotte’s Historic West End. With over 20 years of nonprofit leadership experience, Dr. Flournoy has dedicated his career to transforming lives and building healthier communities.
Under his leadership, QCHC has expanded specialty services, strengthened partnerships across the region, and positioned itself as a trusted medical home for thousands of patients. His vision has guided the organization through a season of growth, innovation, and recognition.
Dr. Flournoy’s leadership has garnered national and local acclaim. QCHC has received numerous awards, including the prestigious Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award from Former United States President Joseph R. Biden Jr. and the President’s Award from the NAACP Charlotte-Mecklenburg Branch. The center has also hosted historic visits from Congresswoman Alma Adams and Former United States Vice President Kamala Harris, underscoring its role as a vital provider of health care and community support.
